Tampa Bay Vipers Acquire WR S.J. Green Via Trade, Make More Roster Moves

The Tampa Bay Vipers have made several roster moves after their 0-2 star to the season.

First, the Vipers have announced that they have acquired defensive lineman Shane Bowman from Team Nine. Bowman played his college football for the Washington Huskies and had brief stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL. Also, the Vipers have announced they’ve traded linebacker Korey Toomer to the Seattle Dragons in exchange for wide receiver S.J. Green.

Green is a veteran Canadian Football League (CFL) wide receiver who brings a wealth of experience. Green is a three-time Grey Cup Champion, a two-time CFL All-Star, and an eight-time CFL East All-Star. The South Florida product was initially claimed by Seattle after signing with the XFL, but now finds himself playing in Tampa.

Finally, the Vipers have decided to waive running back Mack Brown and wide receiver Seantavius Jones.
