Thus far, the only player announced as being signed with the XFL is former NFL quarterback Landry Jones.
Despite the fact that the team rosters have not been announced yet, the oddsmakers are already at work for the relaunch season.
Two of the biggest football markets are the frontrunners in the opening betting odds to win the XFL Championship for the 2020 season.
According to Sports Betting Dime, the New York Guardians (+300) and the Los Angeles Wildcasts (+300) are the favorites to make it to the championship game.
Rounding out the list are the Dallas Renegades at +350, the Tampa Bay Vipers at +450, Houston Roughnecks at +900, St. Louis Battlehawks at +900, Seattle Dragons at +900 and the D.C. Defenders at +900.
The team venues were announced earlier this year. The league is spending big money on advertising and the plan is for Commissioner Oliver Luck to handle all of the day-to-day operations while owner Vince McMahon remains out of the spotlight.
Team rosters are expected to be announced within the next couple of months, shortly before training camp starts. The league will launch in February and games will air on ABC, ESPN, Fox, and FS1.
