Los Angeles Wildcats Officially Announce Firing Of DC Pepper Johnson

Los Angeles Wildcats Head Coach and General Manager Winston Moss has confirmed that the team has released Defensive Coordinator Pepper Johnson after one game.

Moss said in a statement: “We recognize that there are issues we need to address for the 2020 season. While these decisions are difficult, we have given this significant thought. We are here to put the best possible product on the field for our fans. We thank Pepper for his contributions to the Wildcats and we are looking forward to our home opener this weekend.”

The move comes after the Wildcats lost to the Houston Rouchnecks 37-17 on the first day of play for the league.

We will post updates when we get them.
