XFL Ratings For ABC, ESPN Week Three Revealed

Week Three of the XFL 2020 season is in the books, and now we have the ABC and ESPN ratings from this past weekend’s games to pass along.

The first game of the weekend, which saw the Houston Roughnecks edge the Tampa Bay Vipers in a great game, averaged 1.914 million viewers on ABC. Viewership actually peaked between 4:45-5:00 p.m. with 2.571 million viewers. On Sunday, the New York Guardians fell to the St. Louis BattleHawks on ESPN. The game, which was the BattleHawks’ first home game of the season, averaged 1.473 million viewers.

Viewership for New York vs. St. Louis peaked between 4:45-5:00 p.m. at 1.640 million viewers. Despite the slight drop from last week’s numbers, the XFL is still posting solid ratings as the season rolls on. Not to mention week after week of entertaining games. As mentioned before, Houston’s win over Tampa Bay was a very entertaining game, and caused quite the stir on social media.

If the XFL can continue to produce quality football throughout the rest of the season, ratings should maintain strong numbers.
