XFL Announces Partnership With DraftKings

Ahead of the Saturday’s kickoff, the XFL has announced a partnership with DraftKings, Inc.

According to a press release sent out, DraftKings will be the Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner and an Authorized Gaming Operator of the league throughout the regular season and postseason.

The deal will allow DraftKing customers to place bets on fantasy lineups for all eight-teams.

“We want what our fans want, and millions of football fans have made fantasy and legal wagering an essential part of their football experience,” said Jeffrey Pollack, President and COO of the XFL, in the press release. “DraftKings is a leader in this space and shares our commitment to giving fans more ways to connect to the game we all love. This partnership is another great way to broaden our reach and introduce our new league.”

As part of the deal, DraftKings will be able to use XFL logos, marks, and player imagery in their gaming platforms and their marketing. The deal is only applicable in permitted states.

The XFL kicks off this Saturday with the Seattle Dragons vs. DC Defenders on Saturday afternoon at 2 pm eastern on ABC. LA Wildcats vs. Houston Roughnecks is scheduled for Saturday at 5 pm eastern on FOX. Sunday’s games will include the Tampa Bay Vipers vs. New York Guardians at 2 pm eastern on FOX and St. Louis BattleHawks vs. Dallas Renegades at 5 pm eastern on ESPN.
