XFL Getting 200 Football Card Set By Topps In March

As roster moves continue to be made by all XFL teams ahead of kickoff in February, the inaugural league will also be getting football cards.

Cardboard Connection reports that Topps will be producing a 200-card set for the XFL in March. Topps also produced cards for the now-defunct Alliance of American Football (AAF), which folded before its first season could even finish. The report notes the 200-card set will include players and head coaches from the eight XFL teams.

Each pack of XFL cards will contain basic player cards. One in six packs will include a special “Stars Of The XFL” card as well. We have some photos from the upcoming set that greatly resemble Topps’ AAF set. The only difference between the two seems to be the color scheme, and logo of course.

We currently have no further information regarding an exact release date, pricing, or retail locations, but we’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
