Steve Levy, Greg McElroy and Pat McAfee added to ESPN’s XFL broadcast team

Pat McAfee has been hired to call games for the XFL.

According to a press release sent out on Wednesday, McAfee will call games on ABC and ESPN when the league launches this February. McAfee will serve as an analyst.

The press release also notes that ESPN announcer Steve Levy and former Alabama/New York Jets QB Greg McElroy will be the lead broadcast team for all XFL Saturday games on ESPN and ABC. Their duties will also include playoff games and the championship game on April 26.

Tom Luginbill will be a field analyst and Dianna Russini will be part of the team as a reporter.

For the Sunday games, Tom Hart will provide play-by-play and ex-NFL wide receiver Joey Galloway will join McAfee in the broadcast booth.

The league launches this February, one week after the Super Bowl.
