St. Louis BattleHawks President Claims New Adidas Division Will Manufacturer XFL Uniforms

St. Louis BattleHawks team president Kurt Hunzeker was recently interviewed on the 105.7 The Point’s “Rizzuto Show” to talk about the XFL.

During the program, Hunzeker suggested that a new division of Adidas will be the manufacturer of XFL uniforms. He also added that helmets are being provided by Riddell and Schutt. Check out the interview below. Hunzeker’s comments come around the five-minute mark of the video.

Earlier this week the XFL unveiled uniforms for all eight of its teams. Currently, replica jerseys are on sale for $79.99 for adults and $74.99 for youth. As for customized jerseys, those will be available to fans who attend XFL games inside stadiums on gameday. No pricing information was made available for customized jerseys, however.

Initial sales did very well, as jerseys sold out in under 24 hours after going on sale earlier this week. The XFL continued to restock to meet demands.

The XFL will kick off its inaugural season in February of 2020 shortly after the conclusion of the NFL’s 2019 season. In the league’s first matchup, the D.C. Defenders will take on the Seattle Dragons in Washington. The game will broadcast live on ABC.
