The XFL is headed to St. Louis, according to KSDK TV.
Reporter Frank Cusumano has learned that St. Louis will be the home of one of the XFL teams when the league launches in early 2020.
The plan is for 10 games for the inaugural season and the St. Louis team will play 5 of those games at the Dome at America’s Center.
The St. Louis area has not had a professional football team since the Rams left in 2015.
Vince McMahon’s XFL promises to bring back the ‘fun’ in football. League officials are looking at making changes to the game. Among those changes is to shorten the games to approximately 2 hours.
