Pep Hamilton announced as XFL Washington D.C. Head Coach

Pep Hamilton has been announced as the Head Coach for the XFL’s Washington D.C. team.

The announcement came after Hamilton left Michigan Football’s Coaching staff earlier this week as the Assistant Head Coach of the Wolverines.

Hamilton was previously the offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, he was named the Assistant Head Coach and Quarterbacks Coach for the Cleveland Browns.

He later signed a deal with the Michigan Wolverines worth $4.25 million for four years but it was announced earlier this month that he would be leaving the staff and rumors began to swirl that he was offered a job in the XFL. Those rumors were confirmed today.
