It looks like FOX is very happy with the ratings for the games that aired over the weekend.
The network announced that the Houston Roughnecks 37-17 victory over the Los Angeles Wildcats scored a 2.3/6 metered market rating on Saturday afternoon. That is a strong rating and a great sign for the league as they head into the second weekend of football.
FOX touted the ratings for the top available markets:
1. Houston (5.7/15)
2. St. Louis (4.1/9)
3. Tampa Bay (3.7/8)
4. Dallas (3.5/9)
5. Atlanta and Kansas City (3.4/7)
As noted last night, the first game that aired on ABC drew an average of 3.3 million viewers with 4 million people tuning in during the last 15 minutes of the broadcast.
The ratings for Sunday’s game will be available later today.
