Andrew Luck is retiring from the NFL

Andrew Luck has told the Indianapolis Colts that he is retiring from the NFL. The news broke on Saturday night via ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Luck reportedly has already met with Colts’ owner Jim Irsay to tell him about his decision to retire and Jacoby Brissett will be named as the new starting quarterback.

Sources close to Luck say that he is mentally burned out and that is what led to his deciison.

Obviously, this is shocking news considering that he is just 29 years old. There will be a press conference on Sunday to make the news official.

Luck is the son of XFL Commissioner Oliver Luck.
