Adidas has taken issue with Vince McMahon’s Alpha Entertainment logo because they say it looks to similar to theirs. The sneaker company has asked the United States Patent & Trademark Office for more time so they can oppose McMahon’s Alpha logo.

Alpha Entertainment, LLC is a company formed in Pennsylvania as the parent company for the XFL. McMahon maintains that he will not be the figurehead of the promotion and there are no plans to integrate professional wrestling into the game. That was something that many considered to be a mistake during the first incarnation of the league in 2001.

Adidas has until March 6, 2019 to file an opposition.
