Dallas Renegades Beat Seattle Dragons 24-12

The Dallas Renegades are now 2-1 on the season after downing the Seattle Dragons 24-12 earlier today.

Dallas was led by quarterback Landry Jones who completed 73 percent of his passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions. Donald Parham led Dallas in receiving with 101 yards and two touchdowns. Seattle was led by signal-caller Brandon Silvers, who threw for 204 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick. He completed 62 percent of his passes, but, unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to get Seattle the win.

Austin Proehl was Silvers’ big weapon of the day, catching six passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. Both defensive lines only got to the quarterback once. Dallas got three tackles for a loss while the Dragons only got one more. The Renegades’ secondary registered six passes defended and an interception.

Seattle’s secondary put up the exact same numbers, plus an extra interception. The Dragons will drop to 1-2 and travel to St. Louis to face the BattleHawks next week. Meanwhile, Dallas will host fellow Texas team the Houston Roughnecks, who are undefeated and look great through three weeks.
